Citizen TV reporter Francis Mtalaki’s father is dead.
The Coast-based reporter revealed to Ommy Dalla that his father was injured after falling from the top of a house.
He had been receiving treatment at Jocham hospital in Mombasa.
“I got a call last Saturday that he had fallen as he was doing repairs to one of his houses in Kisauni and had been taken to a local hospital, I went, picked him and took him to Jocham hospital where he was admitted for like five days. He died last night.” Mtalaki told Ommy Dala.
Mtalaki’s loss comes just two days after another media personality, Joyce Omondi also lost her father.
“Among the greatest titles of my life is the privilege of being the daughter of this incredibly great man. He is everything I could ever pray for and desire in a father. The profound depth of his love, care, support and coverage is the kind only few are privileged to receive,” penned Joyce Omondi.
“There is an enormous hole in my heart now that our heavenly Father whom he taught me to love and serve has called him home. Only God can fill this void because the legacy of who my daddy was is almost larger than life. March on great soldier. Sibuor (lion) wetu.I love you, daddy.”
