Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga reportedly traveled to India on medical grounds. This has been confirmed by his elder brother and Siaya County senator Dr Oburu Oginga.
The revelation by the Siaya County senator comes amid speculations surrounding the whereabouts of Raila, who has been missing in action for the last few weeks.
Raila’s ODM party has since made a statement saying that the former Prime Minister is in perfect health and that there should be no cause for an alarm.
Just recently, Raila’s wife Dr Ida Odinga denied claims that her husband has been hospitalized. According to her, Kenyans should desist from speculating on her husband’s state of health.
Raila has kept off the limelight for almost two weeks. On the political scene, she has been nowhere to be seen, something that sparked the speculations surrounding his health state.
