According to sources, her body was discovered by her colleagues and family members after she failed to show up at work.
It was not however established what had led to her untimely demise that has really shocked many across the country.
Nevertheless, today a postmortem has been conducted on her body with her ally Ken Mijungu confirming that Rita passed on after suffering from severe pneumonia.
