With Nyambane bringing more food on the table, Mr Mong’are is now one of the most successful personalities in the country currently.An alumnus of Lenana School and Kenyatta University,he rose to fame in the late 90s as a comedian in the Reddykyulass show.After a long stint with the show, including tours in the USA and parts of Europe, the group came back with Red Korna,Together with fellow comedians,John ‘KJ’ Kiarie and Tony Njuguna,they started the Reddykyulass Limited.Walter said he admires his late father, who was a polygamist with 18 children and managed to take all of them to school.Nyambane,who had previously been given green lights to seek the top seat,was barred from running for the presidency after IEBC revoked his nomination certificate for lack of a university degree.A while back,former TPF finalist Linda Muthama went public with the news that she had become the second wife to popular comedian Walter Mong’are a.k.a Nyambane.Of course the news came with immense backlash with some calling her a home wrecker while others wondered out loud how such a modern woman would find traditional practices such as polygamy appealing
Nyambane used to work as the Director of Youth and Development in the Office of the President.He was appointed four years ago,but he resigned after joining the just concluded politics.
