A retired police officer experienced a proud moment on Saturday, September 5, when his two daughters graduated from the Administration Police Training College in Embakasi, Nairobi.
The two sisters completed their training and officially joined the ranks of Administration Police officers, following a career path their father once pursued.
Retired officer Ng’eno watched from the crowd as his daughters took part in the pass-out parade, marking the end of their rigorous training.
The occasion was made even more special by the fact that Ng’eno had spent years serving in the police service himself. Seeing his daughters follow in his footsteps gave the family another reason to celebrate.
Photos and a video capturing the emotional moment were shared online by Facebook user Collins KE. The post described the occasion as one of the greatest moments he had witnessed.

The sisters stood side by side in their new uniforms as they celebrated the achievement with their father.
Their graduation was part of a larger pass-out ceremony held at the Administration Police Training College in Embakasi. President William Ruto presided over the ceremony as the recruits formally completed their training.
For Ng’eno, the day represented more than just a graduation. After years of wearing the police uniform himself, he now had the opportunity to watch two of his children begin careers in the same service.
The achievement also highlighted the influence parents can have on their children’s career choices. Growing up with a father in the police service may have exposed the sisters to the discipline, commitment and sacrifice associated with law enforcement.
