Tanzanian rap sensation Billnass, who is also the husband of celebrated songstress Nandy, has strongly addressed swirling rumours suggesting that he has a falling-out with fellow hitmaker Rayvanny.
Speaking during an interview with a local Tanzanian radio station on the night of Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Billnass clarified that not only is there no bad blood between them, but their relationship is so close and genuine that it transcends music and extends into deep family connections.
The rapper noted that Rayvanny is like a younger brother to him and remains one of his biggest supporters both personally and professionally.
“Rayvanny is like my younger brother, and just recently he was at my school event to support me. We have a strong friendship, and nothing negative has ever happened during our phone conversations, as people are claiming. He is truly my brother,” Bill said.
He revealed that Rayvanny recently attended his music event and stood by him as a friend, proving the strength of their bond.
Forcing friendship
Billnass also refuted claims of any disputes or misunderstandings during their phone conversations, branding such allegations as baseless and misleading.
He stressed that their friendship is effortless and naturally built, and there has never been any moment of tension between them.
Billnass also says their families share a strong and genuine relationship, noting that Rayvanny’s child is expected to attend his own child’s upcoming birthday party.
“Rayvanny is someone who is even involved in my personal and family matters. For example, when my child has a birthday, you might see his child attending as well. I do not have to call him to force this friendship or prove anything because our bond is natural.”
He insisted that their friendship is not something he has to force or prove, as both families frequently interact and support each other.
The rapper, who was recently in the headlines for performing from a dangling box, revealed that Rayvanny had just performed in Sudan and personally reached out to share updates and receive his support.
He emphasised that he and Rayvanny meet at least two or three times a week due to their close circles and the friendship their wives share.
According to him, Rayvanny is not just an industry colleague but a true friend who is part of his life journey, both in music and in family matters.
“Just recently, Rayvanny had a show in Sudan, and he contacted me personally to let me know about it, and I gave him my support.
“That is the kind of person he is. In fact, within a single week, we meet at least two or three times because my friends are also his friends, and the places we go often intersect. My wife and his wife are also close friends, which makes our families connected on many levels. He is not just a fellow artiste but someone I consider part of my family,” he said.
