Azimio la Umoja: One of the presidential chief agents for the Kenya Coalition in the general election of last year, Saitabao Kanchory, claims that Mr. Raila Odinga’s supporters are to blame for the loss. In an interview with Spice FM on Thursday morning, Mr. Kanchory also claimed that his advice to the Azimio leader, which would have helped the coalition win the presidential race, was ignored.
He claimed that he initially shared his ideas when he was selected to join Azimio’s presidential election team, only for things to change later. “The other better-placed advisers eventually overruled my voice of reason, which is why we are in this mess.” Mr. Kanchory stated He knows that if Baba listened to me, he would be in State House right now as we speak.
Mr. Kanchory claimed that the people around him restricted his access to Mr. Odinga. He stated that the same individuals were to select the individuals who would meet with the Azimio leader. Additionally, Mr. Kanchory stated that he is currently writing a book about his reflections on the most recent presidential race.
