Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga on Saturday pitted camp in his Luo Nyanza backyard where he attended the burial ceremony of former medical practitioner Dr. Joab Bodo who was laid to rest his home in Nyahera, Kisumu West constituency in Kisumu county.
The vocal Azimio la Umoja leader during the burial ceremony hit out at the Kenya Kwanza administration accusing it of making life unbearable to Kenyans by introducing punitive taxes.
The former Prime Minister reiterated his earlier sentiments insisting that they will do everything to ensure that the controversial Finance bill is not passed in Parliament. He said that his Azimio la Umoja troops will vehemently oppose the Finance Bill when it will be tabled in Parliament.
Raila Odinga was accompanied by his close allies from Kisumu County including Hon Rosa Buyu, Hon Aduma Awour, Dr. Ochieng Owili, and Hon James Nyikal among other leaders.
This comes after President Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza troops insisted that they will pass the finance bill. DP Gachagua whiles boasting about Kenya Kwanza numbers in Parliament says that the finance bill will sail through despite Azimio opposing it.
