Citizen TV’s Sultana show actress Bwire Ndubi, popularly known by her stage name Dida has for the first time revealed to her fans that she is battling cancer.
She announced the sad news on her Facebook page as she celebrated the cancer awareness month of October and urged people to normalize screening even when the month of October comes to an end. She firmly stated that cancer knows no age, no colour, gender and people should know their bodies and treat them right.
She thanked her parents, in-laws, co-workers, doctors, nurses, her children and caregiver Dan Sonko for without them all the journey could not be easy.
She encouraged other cancer warriors to keep fighting and not allow cancer to outlive them.
Many of her fans went to the comments section to wish her all the best in the battle against cancer.
May the almighty God see her through and anyone else battling cancer and grant them a quick recovery.
