Former Nairobi Diaries Actress, Mishi Dorah who was arrested a month ago over unpaid alcohol bill, worth ksh. 150, 000, was released a week ago. Speaking in an interview with Dr Ofweneke, Mishi Dorah said that it was one of the toughest experience in her life.
Dorah said that life in Kenyan prison is like hell, and for the 38 days she has been in the cell, she has been eaten up by bedbugs and fleas. She went there with a glowing skin but she came out as a very different person.
Dorah said that she hasn’t paid the bill, she is trying to bounce back, get her kids from the orphanage, get her house back, and then start clearing the bills. Dorah said only one of her friends came through for her, all the other friends vanished and left her to just face the hell life in jail.
