The Chief Executive Officer of the leading telecommunications company in the country is now the Chancellor of Meru University of Science and Technology.
The appointment has been communicated today through a gazette notice of 3rd November 2023. Mr. Ndegwa will serve in the position for a period of five years started from November this year.
The President has made several appointments to different institutions today with trade unionist Francis Atwoli’s son, Professor Lukoye Atwoli, being among those who benefited from the appointments.
Prof. Lukoye has been appointed as the non-executive Chairperson of the Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital. A position he will serve for three years.
Other people whose names featured in the appointments include: Former UDA Party apirant for Bobasi constituency seat Lucas Mogoa and Former Ijara Member of Parliament Sophia Abdi Noor.
