The Head of State, Dr William Ruto kicked off his tour in Mt Kenya region today. Ruto was welcomed warmly by Laikipia residents.
In a video shared by The Standard, the president was surrounded by dancing Kenyans and mainly women who also ululated joyously for the Head of State.
The president joined them and made the moves similar to those made by the women intensifying the voices and celebration shouts. He also picked one of the sticks that was being used in the dance and made the moves using the stick too. The president later addresses the residents on matters concerning the development plans in the area. He also thanked them for the warm reception that he received.
Essentially, the reception of the Head of State was glorious and warm.
