According to available sources of news making headline,his Excellency President William Ruto has today stamped authority as he exercise powers to dismiss senior officials from government.
As reported by Standard Digital, President Ruto has revoked appointments of John Nyambok as the chair of the Chemelil Sugar company, Alfred Khang’ati who chair the board of Nzoia Sugar company and Jared Opiyo as chair of South Nyanza sugar company effective immediately.
The officials have been dismissed just days after top leading Sugar company like Mumias were leansed to private entities to revive them. The reason for their dismissal is yet to be unveiled to the public but in due time, more information will be given.
However, if there is a problem within the companies the appointing authority has the power to dismiss officials and appoint new manpower to revive the working conditions.
