After Gen Z organized themselves and stormed different parts of the country, even breaking and entering Parliament, new details have just emerged about the number of MPs who have retreated and even apologized for voting yes for the finance bill 2024, which also forced several youths to protest and some to die.

As per the latest updates shared on July 1, 2024, it has been revealed that some of them MPs have apologized and asked Kenyans to forgive them for going against the expectations.

Some of the members of Parliament who have so far apologized and asked Kenyans to forgive them include.

  1. Joseph Namuar, MP Central Turkana.
  2. David Gikari, MP Nakuru Town East,
  3. MP Gideon Kimaiyo, Keiyo South.
  4. Mr. John Kiarie, Dagoretti South.
  5. Sarah Korere, Laikipia North.
  6. Geoffrey Wanderu, Nyeri Tetu.
  7. Oscar Nabulindo, MP Matundu.

Some of them have been sending their apologies on social media after some of the members who voted yes said, We’re not counting losses after Gen Z stormed their homes and burned them down. Those who were left counting losses included Molo Membe of Parliament and Oscar Sudi.

Also, some leaders, including Alfred Mutai from Kuresoi North, have confirmed that they voted yes and condemned youths who raided and invaded their homes.

This just came in after Gen Z revealed that they will not relax and that all MPs who voted yes should resign or not be reelected in 2027.
