Saturday, the 31st of May, was indeed a special day for celebrated media personality Wangechi Wa Muriuki.
This is because on the day, she officially made her debut on NTV as a news anchor, months after she left a similar role at the vernacular station Inooro TV.
Wangechi Wa Muriuki was actually the one who anchored the NTV At One news bulletin, that aired at 1 PM on Saturday afternoon.
The talented media personality actually graced the screens while looking ravishing in a red pencil dress, and her make up was on point too.
Unlike at Inooro TV where she used to anchor news bulletins in the Kikuyu language, at NTV she anchored the news perfectly using the English language.
Wangechi Wa Muriuki actually disclosed the big news in a post that she made on her Instagram account, where she was clearly over the moon to be back on the screens.
“Guess who is back???? A full circle moment, super excited to be back on air #smallgirlwithbigGod” she wrote.
Her post also elicited some reactions from netizens, who were indeed glad to see her back on the screens as shown in the link below.
This is actually the first time that Wangechi Wa Muriuki has anchored a news bulletin on TV after a break of about 5 months.
The last time that the sassy news anchor was on TV was on the 8th of December, 2024, when she anchored her last bulletin at Inooro TV.
