Lilian Rotich is one of the famous local artist singing Kalenjin gospel songs. Her song ‘inetkei’ went viral in 2015 when she released it. The musician persue her academic dream and she finally graduated today from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. President William Samoei Ruto and CS Musalia Mudavadi graced the occasion.
Taking to her Facebook account, Lilian Rotich shared her life journey and how she took a break from music to focus on her academics. She said that her dream of persuing degrees was obstructed by other people who also needed basic education and resources were limited. She said that she is proud to have studied with her children and that today she graduated with her own son in the University.
