Former Director of Communications in the office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary Salim Swaleh has revealed that he is now venturing into politics.

The hunk, who is also a former news anchor at NTV, confirmed this in a short video clip that he recently posted on his Instagram account, that showed how he had gone back to Bondeni in Nakuru County, a place where he was born and raised.

The video showed how Salim Swaleh arrived at some event that was held at the Msalaba area while in his black SUV, and he was welcomed in style by the women who were there, who kept cheering for him.

The talented journalist then confirmed that he had begun his political journey in a caption that he added to the video, where he said “Safari imeanza”.

 

Salim Swaleh also confirmed this while responding to some netizens who also reacted to how he had ventured into politics.

When Stanely Kwambugu said:

“Kwani Salim swaleh ni Mbunge tena 😂😂😂”

Salim Swaleh responded by saying:

“tuko ndaaaaaani ndaaaani”.

When Magda Shiko said:

“Nyumbani pale. Msalaba. All the best”.

Salim Swaleh responded by saying:

“asante sanaaaa”.

When Tutu Erastus said:

“Mapema ndio best”.

Salim Swaleh responded by saying:

“Kabisaaa”.

 

Taking a look into the Instagram account of Salim Swaleh, you will also realize that he has now added the word Hon. (Honourable) before his name, which is a prefix that is normally used by politicians on social media.
