Former TV47 news reporter Gachambi Nderitu has opened up about her life, and disclosed to the whole world that she is a single mother.
Unbeknownst to many, the sassy media personality is currently raising her one-year-old daughter on her own, because her little-known baby daddy is a deadbeat father.
Gachambi Nderitu actually disclosed this via a post that she recently made on her instagram account, where she was revealing some of the things that usually scare her as a single mother.
According to the former TV47 journalist, she always wonders whether she will be able to give her daughter, baby A, the life she deserves without the help of her baby daddy.
Gachambi Nderitu also normally wonders whether she will be able to make the big decisions regarding her daughter on her own.
Aside from that, she also wonders how baby A will view her own life when she begins going to school, because there she will meet kids who come from a complete family while she is raised by a single mother.
“Things I’m scared to admit as a single mother who is not co-parenting.
When she’s sitting in class reading a story about a “mum and dad” will she ever wonder about the family she’s never experienced? Will she question why hers looks different?”
“Will I always be stable enough to give her the life she deserves? Will I always be able to provide for her, even when life gets unpredictable?” Gachambi Nderitu said in part.
She added:
“Because I’m the one making the big decisions about her life, will I always make the right ones? Will I choose the right school? make the right calls, and know what’s best for her?”
Even though the aforementioned things scare Gachambi Nderitu, she is not worried so much because she believes that she will be able to figure things out in time.
“These are the things that scare me as a mum. The questions I don’t always say out loud. But I’m learning that motherhood doesn’t come with a roadmap. I may not have all the answers right now, but I’m figuring it out one day, one decision, one prayer at a time 🤍.
