On Thursday, lawyer Donald Kipkorir was welcomed back to the city after having been away since his mother the late Katarina (Catherine) passed on.
This has been confirmed by his close friend and a fellow lawyer Silas Jakakimba who is Raila Odinga’s former personal assistant.
In the post made by Jakakimba through his social media accounts, he has noted that the friends of the lawyer organised him a party to welcome him back to the city.
Several friends were present with the group siminigly having a great time together as they enjoyed drinks and company if having each other.
This comes days after Donald Kipkorir noted that the death of his mother truly taught him who were his true friends since they stood with him throughout.
He said that some of them went out of their way to support him financially considering that his mother’s illness greatly constrained him financially.
“Long ailing of my mother Katarina, her exorbitant medical bills both locally & abroad, her death & burial was epiphany for me. It revealed my true BFFs that offered support without invitation.
