IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati declared Deputy President Ruto is the fifth President of Kenya but Raila Odinga declared that he will challenge the results at the court. However, experts allege that President Uhuru Kenyatta was betrayed by his advisors and that is why most of the mt Kenya leaders were defeated in August polls. He alleges that his advisors failed to help him after supporting Raila Odinga’s presidential bid and was struggling to sell Raila Odinga in mt Kenya region.
According to Ngugi Njoro, he alleges that President Uhuru Kenyatta did his part but the people of Mt Kenya region decided to shift their focus on what Uhuru said. He alleges that Uhuru declared that he will rule for 10 years and deputy president Ruto will take over the throne from him. He revealed that the people of Mt Kenya region decided to search for the Kingpin in Mt Kenya region simply because they did not want to retire with Uhuru Kenyatta.
