Police officers attached to Kasarani were on Thursday left in shock after they noticed multiple wounds on the body of the man who was found dead in his house.
According to the report, the officers had received a phone call that a man had been found dead in one of the apartments in Kasarani, and when they rushed to the place, they discovered the body was rotting.
They took the body to their car, transporting it to the morgue, but before reaching there, one of the officers decided to observe the body of the man, and he was shocked to find out that the stomach had several injuries, showing the deceased was stabbed to death.
The officers also discovered that on the legs of the deceased, there were injuries, though the legs were also rotting.
The police revealed that they have begun investigations to find out who killed the man and what unfolded before his death.
However, the residents living near the man claimed that they last saw the man with his girlfriend, and since then, they had never seen him again until they found him dead.
“We saw him with his girlfriend in February this year, and it has been a long period of time without meeting him. We have been asking ourselves, did he change positions to another plot? But not getting answers since nobody saw him leaving with his belongings,” one of the residents said.
He also urged the police officers to consider looking for the man’s girlfriend to help them with the investigations.
