Controversial Kenyan socialite-cum-businesswoman Vera Sidika has today disclosed to her fans that she has not boarded a matatu for 14 consecutive years now.

The voluptuous mother of one disclosed this in a recent Q&A session that she had with her instagram followers, where one of them wanted to know about the last time that she did it.

According to Vera Sidika however the last time that she ever boarded a matatu was in the end of 2009, and at the time she was a fresher at the Kenyatta University where she pursued her degree in BA Art and Design.

“Btw ulibebwa na matatu mara ya mwisho lini just asking” The anonymous fan asked.

“End 2009 in Uni as a fresher. Before I got my first car” Vera Sidika responded.

Well if you are wondering why the socialite ceased to board matatus then, then wonder no more because she had just bought a new car for herself, at just 19 years of age.

In the same Q&A, Vera Sidika also disclosed that her first ever car was a red Toyota Sera.

If you are a lover of cars, then you surely must know that Toyota Seras are among the rarest Toyota cars ever made.

The car was produced for just 5 years from February 1990 to December 1995, and it was famous outside the Japanese market because it inspired the famous butterfly doors on the McLaren F1.

According to reports however, the Toyota Sera was not a very powerful car. It had a 1.5-liter 4-Cylinder engine that only put out 1080 hp.

Even though the car weighed 900kg, the power output was just enough for the average road performance and nothing more.

The Toyota Sera however currently goes for Kshs $11,469 and this translates to Kshs 1,429,381.47 as per the current rates.

Vera Sidika’s taste in lavish cars however has not changed over the years, and this is because she currently owns a Range Rover Evoque.
