AFC Leopards Chairman Bonface Ambani has sent condolences to his close friend, Otieno Siaji, after a devastating chain of events plunged the family into deep mourning.
Two weeks ago, Siaji received a distress call from his rural home in Ugunja, Siaya County, reporting that his mother, Mama Eunice Atieno Siaji, had gone missing.
Family members raised alarm when she could not be traced, prompting a search within the homestead. Her body was later discovered buried inside the family kitchen.
Investigations revealed that a shamba boy, who had been assisting with household chores, was the prime suspect. He fled the area immediately after the incident and remains at large.

Ambani described the ordeal as “too much to handle,” noting the unimaginable pain of losing both parents within such a short span. He prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.
