Kapsaret member of Parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi was in Elgeiyo Marakwet county yesterday for a burial of one of his relatives. During the burial he continued his onslaught against Marakwet West member of Parliament Wakili Timothy Kipchumba and warned him that he will ensure he is defeated in the 2027 general elections.
Oscar Sudi blamed Timothy Kipchumba for selling employment letters to poor citizens, Sudi said that there are a few letters for teachers, police officers and other professions that are left after official recruitment and members of parliament get them and for Kipchumba he sells them.
Oscar Sudi said that it is wrong to sell employment letters and they should be given free of charge like he does, Sudi said that when he gets a few letters, he gives them out to poor citizens without asking for anything but instead he gives them Ksh. 20,000 on top. The additional money is meant to help the beneficiaries to do shopping and report to their places of work.
