Kenyan comedian Erick Omondi has been on the forefront criticising Kenyan musicians for over a year now.He claims they are sleeping on the job and letting foreign musicians dominate the Kenyan industry.This has become like a daily job for Erick and in my opinion it’s time someone tells him to shift his focus back to the comedy industry where he belongs.The Kenyan comedy industry is doing far much worse than the music one.There is currently no comedian in Kenya apart from Churchill who can fill up a venue.Omondi with a career lasting over ten years should be in a capacity to do this but he can not.Comedians are doing so bad that no one currently wants to become one.Instead of Erick being a comedian,he has resorted to other antics like dressing as a woman to get attention and remain relevant.He might as well be criticising these musicians in an effort to get attention and remain relevant.Kenyan musicians are doing just fine,he should criticise his own industry.
