Businessman Oketch Salah has come out strongly to dismiss the swirling claims about his relationship with opposition leader Raila Odinga describing it as genuine personal and deeply rooted in mentorship. Salah said Raila embraced him not as a supporter but as a son guiding him through leadership business and public life. He added that the veteran politician trusted him enough to send him as a representative to key national and community events, a gesture he says symbolised confidence and respect.
Salah also clarified long standing questions about his background claiming he was born in Migori to a business-oriented family and built his foundation long before coming to political spaces. His meeting with Raila he explained was one that happened later in shaping his journey to all great intent and purpose the ODM leader adopted him and became somewhat of a mentor cum father figure to him.
By talking about it Salah wants to put speculation to an end and let the world know that the relationship is not based on politics or convenience but on values trust and shared vision.
