Triza Njeri’s already public marital woes have taken a dramatic twist after a leaked audio surfaced online, allegedly capturing her close friends mocking her post-breakup struggles.
The audio, shared by influencer Purity Macharia, has gone viral, sparking shock and debate across social media platforms. In the clip, a woman identified as Tata Essy is heard ridiculing Triza, saying she left her matrimonial home with virtually nothing.
“When she came here, she had an old white short that was so worn out it had changed colour,” the friend is heard saying. “She looked so poor. She didn’t even have decent innerwear.”
The comments were made as Triza reignited online conflict with her estranged husband, popular philanthropist Karangu Muraya, and his second wife, Carol Kim. Despite earlier signs of reconciliation — including Karangu gifting Triza a car — Triza recently criticized those gestures and dismissed them as superficial.
