Media personality and comedian Oga Obinna has stirred mixed reactions after revealing that he plans to put his daughters on family planning once they turn 18.
Speaking in a candid conversation with his children, Obinna emphasized the importance of responsibility and preparing them for adulthood.
He told his daughters that while he would support them if they ever faced an unplanned pregnancy, the responsibility of raising the child would fall squarely on them.
He further cautioned against unsafe abortion, urging them to make wise decisions about their futures.
“I will take you for family planning when you turn 18 so that you don’t mess up your lives. Every decision has consequences,” Obina said, in remarks that have since gone viral.
Obinna also addressed his son, joking that he would consider taking him for a vasectomy as part of teaching him accountability. The entertainer’s remarks have sparked debate online.
