Nyeri Governor Lists 3 Issues that has Split Gachagua & Ruto

The Nyeri governor Mutahi Kahiga has listed three scenarios that could have lead to the isolation of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

According to the governor, he claimed that some government operatives have been denying Gachagua the helicopter to use for official functions.

The truce between Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga is also another issue that Gachagua’s camp is uncomfortable with.

Kahiga also said the president publicly contradicting Gachagua on shareholding in the Kenya Kwanza government was a clear sign that all was not well.

Yesterday, deputy president revealed that he had taken seven days off to pray and fast at the Mount Kenya Forest during which he cut off all lines of communication to everyone.

During the event, Gachagua emphasised that he was championing the unity of the Mount Kenya region.

On Wednesday, Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina further said politicians should rest the succession politics and focus on their mandate of delivering to the electorate.

” President Ruto is well aware of the existence of all the individuals falling over themselves to ‘replace’ the Deputy President,” Ms Maina said.
