The time to the 2027 general elections is fading fast with now close to two years left, potential elective posts contenders have begun moving around their respective areas to woo the people to support them during the elections.

The presidential seat is gaining momentum by the day as key opposition leaders continue to criticise the Kenya Kwanza government, politicians allies to the government are also keen on convincing Kenyans to re-elect president William Ruto for a second term in 2027.

Former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is among the lead opposition leaders who want the ouster of president William Ruto in the upcoming general elections. The former second in command visited Nyandarua county a few hours ago where he urged them to vote out the current government.

Rigathi Gachagua mentioned top regional leaders whom he is working with and as he mentioned them one by one, the listeners kept their silence until he mentioned the last one whom they jubilated wildly. Gachagua mentioned Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugine Wamalwa and as he mentioned former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i, the crowd showed sudden excitement and they celebrated.
