Prominent Ugandan opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has criticized President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s move to deny Erias Lukwago bail to seek better treatment abroad.

Bobi Wine shared a video of former Kampala Mayor Erias Lukwago looking worn out and helpless in court.

He then called out Museveni’s son, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, for proudly causing that Lukwago situation.

Lukwago was arrested by Gen. Muhoozi for treason-related cases and has been unwell since his arrest.

In a video he posted for his fans and supporters, Lukwago has requested to seek better treatment at least abroad, but his call has been denied.

However, due to bail denial, he will now find himself back in court under tough conditions, something that has scared many of his fans and family members.

Bobi Wine says Gen Muhoozi probably bragged about the pain they are causing Lukwago. “He must be very proud of himself seeing this video.”

But then comes the sharp warning. “No one is tall enough to see the future. One day the tables will turn. All these bad acts will get counted one by one,” Bobi Wine stated.

People quickly jumped on the post, with supporters calling for freedom and saying enough is enough.

A few critics told Bobi Wine, who is currently in exile abroad in the United States of America, to come back home and fight instead of posting from afar.
