Ruto the President

President William Ruto took the bold step today of pointing an accusing finger at the Ford Foundation, an American NGO as having funded the recent anti-government demonstrations in Kenya. When addressing the Kenyans at Keringet Market in Nakuru County, Ruto urged for calm in the country and accused certain factions of profiting greatly from the demonstrations.

Ruto proceeded to state that these parties were sponsoring unknown groups in Kenya to stage protests and bring anarchy. He was also blunt and frank in condemning the sponsors of violence and said he was saddened by what they were doing.

The President went a step further to allege that the Ford Foundation had an evil plan and was actually a menace to Kenya and its democracy. He questioned the motive of the organization and wanted to know why they were alleged to be unleashing the country.

This struck a chord with the people as Ruto began to rally them and denounce any action that would seek to destabilize Kenya. These allegations have led to controversy and created doubts over the involvement of the Ford Foundation in domestic issues.
