, a report has emerged stating that nine top government officials, have been arrested by EACC officers. According to the report, the nine are treasury officials, and are alleged to have stolen 1.57 Billion kenya shillings.
The nine are currently being held by the police, as they await to be aligned in the court of law, tomorrow. It’s sad that our officials, are busy stealing from us, instead of helping us.
Literally, the whole government is full of corrupt officials, who steal public money, to enrich themselves. Most government officials, are mega millionaires, for they embezzle public money, and invest in businesses, or keep it in foreign accounts.
Surprisingly, you will find the court of law, releasing them, on a cash bail of an amount that is way less, than the amount that they stole. To end corruption, such people should be jailed, and the money recovered from their property.
