A Kenyan woman has been left shattered after losing her husband, Baba Tish, in a tragic road accident—just hours after their final WhatsApp conversation.

Slyvia, known on TikTok as @Slyviab001, shared screenshots of their last chats, leaving thousands of Kenyans emotional as they sympathised with her grief. The couple, who openly expressed affection for one another, exchanged loving messages before the crash. In the texts, they referred to each other as “beb,” a nickname that appeared frequently throughout their conversations.

According to Slyvia, she became worried when her husband suddenly stopped responding. She had called him repeatedly, thinking he was simply busy or had run out of battery. She had no idea he had already been involved in a fatal accident.

“Our last conversation, I was sad that you weren’t picking up my calls. Your phone went off and I kept texting, hoping you’d reply, not knowing you were already gone,” she wrote, recalling the moment her world fell apart.

In one of the heartbreaking messages from her husband, he reaffirmed his deep love for her:

“I have no one else… what you offer and provide for me, no other woman can. I value that with all my heart and soul.”

But the final stretch of the chat was painfully one-sided. Slyvia’s messages grew more anxious as she begged him to respond, unaware that he would never see her texts again.

“Beb, why can’t you just text me and tell me what’s going on? Your silence is making me overthink,” she wrote.

Following her post, Kenyans flooded her page with condolences, offering words of comfort and prayers. Many related to her pain, sharing their own stories of sudden loss and unanswered last messages.

For Slyvia, the screenshots are now the precious final proof of a love that ended far too soon.
