In a video clip circulating across social media, a young lady is seen walking up to the stage, seeking to be acquainted with the handsome Disk Jockey(DJ) entertaining revelers at Quivers Lounge. She then stands beside the DJ who looks disinterested in the acquaintance; as he looks back at her and without a word, continues scratching his turntable.
Rather frustrated than ashamed, the young lady moves behind the DJ desperately trying to get his attention. Due to the DJ’s welcomed hospitality, the disappointed lady reiterates by verbally assaulting him. As he appears to be uncomfortable with the situation, yet remains unmoved to react.
She later leaves the stage only to return shoving his right hand’s middle finger at the poor DJ’s face, hurling insults at him before hitting him repeatedly with her fist. Despite this, the DJ maintained his calm, as the revellers shout the woman off the stage.
The video clip has since sparked outrage among netizens who condemned the abuse. Citing that it is not okay to harass someone at their workplace no matter reasonable the demand. According to recent studies, most Disk jockeys face harassment from drunk revellers: especially from some women who want to sexually manipulate them while doing their work.
