Mark is very upset and emotional. He tells Neema that Rachael took a bullet meant for him. Neema comforts him, reminding him to be strong for their son, Jojo. Soon after, the doctor informs them that Rachael’s surgery was successful and she is now stable.
Lari arrives and mentions that someone called looking for Mark. Jojo becomes anxious and asks if everyone is in danger. Lari reassures him that it won’t happen again, as Solomon will be charged with attempted murder.
When Sharon hears the news, she is shocked. Initially, she believes Mark has died, but Val clarifies that it was Joseph’s mother, Rachael, who was shot. Sharon feels relieved that Rachael survived because she thinks this could drive a wedge between Mark and Neema.
Later on, Rachael wakes up and calls for Mark, which makes Neema feel jealous. When the doctor asks who will stay with Rachael, both Mark and Joseph eagerly say “me!” but Neema insists that she will stay instead.
At home, Jojo inquires about his mom, and Joseph explains everything. They discuss their parents’ separations and wonder if there’s a chance they might reunite.
Meanwhile, Eddy is feeling pleased because he made some money—unaware that he’s being deceived. Trouble may be on the horizon!
