Just days after renowned radio personality Njoki Wa Mburu announced her exit from Gukena FM, her replacement has finally been found.
The person who has replaced her is actually Morey Wakibiru, who is also a comedian and a brand influencer.
Morey Wakibiru was actually the one who disclosed this big news in a post that he made on his Facebook account on Monday morning, where he revealed that he will be co-hosting the breakfast show with Raphael Kiritu.
The comedian was also over the moon to land the new job at the Radio Africa-owned station and he made this clear in the long post that he wrote.
“A New Chapter Begins…iyeeesss. Today, I step into a new journey – humbled, emotional and deeply grateful.
I officially take on my new role as a Radio Comedian at Radio Africa Group – Gukena FM Kenya.
To everyone who has believed in me, cheered for me, prayed for me, and waited for me – thank you. Your support has carried me, even in silent days and tough seasons…” he said in part.
The disclosure by Morey Wakibiru also elicited massive congratulatory messages from netizens, who were indeed happy for him for landing the new job as shown in the link below.
Morey Wakibiru and Raphael Kiritu have actually replaced Njoki Wa Mburu and MC Kajim, who had hosted the breakfast show at Gukena FM for the last nine years.

The two radio personalities called it quits with the Radio Africa-owned station on Friday, the 31st of October after hosting their last show.
