Police in Parklands, Nairobi today August 15, 2023 have recovered the sum welve million nine hundred and seventy five thousand Kenyan Shillings (Kshs. 12, 975,000/=) and suspected marijuana substances following a multi-agency operation conducted at Kariwa Slums in Ngara.

In a report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that During the crackdown, four suspects who have been identified as , Eugene Jumba, Hillary Jumbo, Sheila Withers and Teresa Wanjiru were arrested.

Taking to their different social media platforms to confirm this news, The National Police Service has revealed that the suspects were found with with 26 bags of Canabis Sativa (Marijuana), four cartons of rolling materials, 173 pieces of suspected blended drug/bhang, forty two cartons each containing two hundred pieces of cigarettes.

The case is under investigation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Anti-Narcotics Unit. While reacting to the incident, Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to express their opinion on this topic have congratulated the police for arresting the suspects who are being questioned.

According to the reports given by most Kenyans, they claimed that it is so unfortunate that these suspects were keeping money in sacks even though the government has raised concern over the increasing cases of money laundering.

Kenyans have also called upon the government under President William Ruto to do something about the increasing cost of living in the country just like they promised.
