Gen Z content creator Ronoo has once again proved that the Kenyan internet needs very little to explode just a filter, confidence and zero fear of public opinion.

Ronoo left Kenyans fighting for their lives with laughter after posting a viral video in which he hilariously imitates Diana Marua using a face filter, fully committing to the look, expressions, and mannerisms.

The resemblance was close enough to confuse some viewers, yet exaggerated enough to trigger uncontrollable laughter across Instagram. Diana Marua, wife to singer and former gospel artiste turned secular, Bahati Kioko is no stranger to the spotlight.

She is a YouTuber, rapper, businesswoman, brand ambassador and one of Kenya’s most recognisable online personalities. So when Ronoo decided to “borrow” her face for content, Kenyans knew the comment section would be chaotic and it did not disappoint.

Within hours, the post turned into a full blown comedy festival. Some users were shocked, others confused and many simply surrendered to laughter.

“Ronoo amepata filter yake,” one fan wrote. “Kidogo niseme umeiva,” another joked. “Huyu ni nani ameiva hivyo?” several users asked.

“Diana Marua kuja uone venye unakaa hapa,” one comment read. “We’ve lost another one,” a user declared dramatically.

Even public figures joined the fun, reacting with laughing emojis and memes, while others admitted the resemblance was uncomfortably accurate.
