Kenyan singer Nadia Mukami has offered fans a glimpse into the progress of her ambitious real estate project, Kika Apartments, as construction continues in Nairobi’s Mwihoko area.
The award-winning musician shared photos and videos from the construction site, showing her inspecting the development and following up on the ongoing work. Dressed casually in black denim shorts, a customised T-shirt and sneakers, Mukami appeared excited as she toured different sections of the building.
Construction workers at the site were seen wearing neon-coloured safety vests branded with the name Kika Apartments, while Mukami also donned a matching vest during her inspection.
The project consists of a 5½-storey apartment block expected to accommodate 22 modern two-bedroom units once completed. The development is designed to have four apartments on each floor, with construction progressing gradually from the foundation towards the upper levels.
In her social media update, Mukami opened up about the challenges she has faced while bringing the project to life. She described it as a dream that required taking risks, navigating difficult moments and dealing with financial challenges, while emphasising that she is determined to continue at her own pace.
The singer’s journey has attracted praise from fans and fellow celebrities, with many applauding her decision to invest in real estate and build a long-term asset.
The project is reportedly expected to cost about KSh50 million, with Mukami funding the development independently. As work continues, her followers are eagerly waiting to see the completed Kika Apartments and the outcome of the singer’s investment journey.
