They arrived unnoticed. Curious neighbors, astonished by the new occupant of the house said to be for sale, gathered to investigate. Isabelle, a local worker who has a hoarse voice due to hearing loss in the past, is the leader of the group. She introduces herself and surprises Neema’s family, who are still inside, by offering tea and snacks. and her neighbor’s name is unknown. There are questions about the previous owner, Mark, who disappeared after his father’s funeral. The conversation turns personal when Isabelle asks Nima about his marriage, leading Neema to reveal his recent separation.
As the villagers left, they complained of confusion and wanted to know more. What Neema doesn’t know is that the real owner of the house, Mark, is about to introduce another tenant, setting the stage for more unexpected changes.
