“My Mum Gave Birth To Me When She Was 54 Years Old” Popular Gospel Artist Narrates His Story
If you frequently scroll on TikTok you might have come across this video of a popular gospel artist who is sharing his story. Charles Kingori is a Kikuyu gospel singer, songwriter, and producer; he hails from Nyeri County.
According to Kingori, his mother conceived and gave birth to him when she was 54 years old. This is awkward since menopause starts between the ages of 45 and 53. His father was also very old. The man of God became the last born in a family of 10 siblings.
Charles added that God delayed his mother’s menopause because he had a purpose. Charles mentioned that he made sure that his mother was proud of him before her death.
Charles has produced many hit songs that are loved by many, especially in the Kikuyu community. He is popularly known for his song ‘Mahindi Momu’ among others.
