Reports of an accident that occured in Nyeri town surfaced online causing panic.
According to the source, Meru popular musician and communication officer in CS Linturi’s office identified as Litata Keke was involved in a road accident on his way to attend a meeting. Sources revealed that Keke was on his way to attend Tea Farmers meeting held in Nyeri county. Report indicate his vehicle veered off the road and landed in a nearby bush. Litata Keke sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Mwai Kibaki Hospital in Othaya.
Office of CS Linturi confirmed the accident. Kenyans online wished him a speedy recovery. Opera fraternity also wishes Keke a quick recovery. Cases of road accidents have become rampant in the country. A few days ago, popular entertainer and former Churchill comedian Fred Omondi died in a fatal road accident that occured along Kangundo road.
