Lawyer Evans Monari will be laid to rest on Sunday, 17 October 2021 and today his funeral service is taking place at Nairobi Central SDA Church.
In his tribute that he penned days before his death, Monari said, “I got married to my friend and sweetheart Jacqueline Okindo in a garden wedding at the Great Court, University of Nairobi in 1994. We were blessed with lovely children namely: Cynthia Angel Monari-Childerhouse, Michelle Moraa Monari, Joshua Andrew Monari and Jeremy Monari.”

His wife, Jacqueline Monari wrote a moving tribute.
“I am heartbroken by your loss but honoured to have shared your life. You were a remarkable husband, dependable, loving and caring. Our time together may have been cut short but the happiness we shared will last a lifetime.
You made me laugh, you made me smile, you were my companion and dear friend. I will forever love and miss you.
My mind knows that you are in a better place where there is no pain. You are at peace.”
Monari will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at his Gisembe home, Kisii county.
