YouTuber and content creator Mungai Eve has opened up about why she stopped hosting interviews and what fans can expect next. In a Q&A session on Instagram, she explained her decision and future plans.
The change came after her split from Director Trevor, who took control of their original YouTube channel, known for celebrity interviews. Mungai Eve launched her new channel, “The New Mungai Eve,” to focus on content that reflects her own goals.
“After five years of doing the same thing, I realized I had lost myself chasing other people’s dreams instead of mine. I needed time to rediscover Eve and figure out what I truly love,” she said.
Criticism over her interviewing style also influenced her choice. Some fans said she overshadowed her guests or appeared unprofessional. This feedback made her rethink her content.
Despite stepping back, she is not ruling out a return. “Once I am fully ready, I might go back to interviewing. But this time it will be personal and driven by passion, not money,” she explained.
Her new content will focus on empowering viewers, sharing lifestyle insights, and celebrating diversity. She asked fans for input on what they want to see.
“Should I focus on lifestyle, showbiz interviews, or something else? Help a girl! My life is interesting, but I don’t always know how to share it,” she said.
Mungai Eve’s shift shows a creator taking control of her career, prioritizing growth and meaningful content.
