Mulamwah and Ruth K Publicly Apologize After Heated Social Media Clash

Kenyan comedian and digital creator David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, and his former partner Ruth Njoki Karegi, alias Ruth K, have issued heartfelt public apologies after their personal fallout spilled over into a messy social media feud.

The online altercation on June 19 saw the once-adored couple lay bare emotional accusations, ranging from betrayal to disrespect, leaving fans stunned.

Ruth K accused the comedian of continued mistreatment even after their split, including reversing money he had sent her and mocking her online content.

She expressed frustration at being publicly humiliated and vowed to reclaim her dignity.

“It’s been barely three months since the breakup, and I’ve endured disrespect both online and privately,” Ruth wrote in a now-viral post. She accused Mulamwah of emotional sabotage, adding, “I’m trying to heal, but it’s draining.”

In his defense, Mulamwah blamed their separation on Ruth’s friends, claiming they influenced her to abandon their relationship and even move out of their shared home.

He lamented that despite giving her a platform and opportunities, she allegedly repaid him with pride and disrespect.

“You broke your own home with your two hands,” he stated, accusing her of dishonoring his family and ignoring his warnings about her inner circle.

Despite the fiery exchange, both parties later posted apologies in a surprising show of maturity and emotional accountability.

Taking to Instagram, Mulamwah acknowledged that emotions had clouded his judgment.

“I take back my words. I’m sorry to the fans and to R.K., Mama Oyando. I forgive you, and I hope you forgive me too,” he wrote, adding a call for prayer and reflection moving forward.

Ruth K also took a more reflective tone, offering a raw, emotional apology while highlighting the pressures she faces as a single mother. “I should have done better.

I’ve been going through a quiet storm,” she admitted. She pledged to prioritize her son, her growth, and her brand, vowing to rise above the drama.

“This isn’t just an apology; it’s a new chapter,” she wrote.

The reconciliatory messages mark a temporary pause in what had become a very public emotional standoff, reminding fans of the human side behind celebrity relationships.
