Kenyan comedy just turned into a real-life romcom — and Mumias East MP Peter Salasya is ready to play leading man.
Following Mulamwah’s surprise breakup with content creator Ruth K, Salasya has hilariously offered to step in and take over. In true Luhya fashion, the outspoken MP questioned why anyone would leave such a beautiful woman — then boldly declared that if Mulamwah is done, “Mrudishe ama unipee!”
“That girl is too beautiful to let go. In our Luhya tradition, we don’t waste such,” he added, leaving social media in stitches.
The breakup, announced by Mulamwah himself, has sparked mixed reactions. While some fans suspect it might be a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming comedy special Let Me Explain, others believe the split is genuine especially after Ruth posted a video showing her new kitchen setup. Observant fans noticed different floor tiles, a new TV stand, and a changed layout, suggesting she may have already moved out.
