South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro has sparked widespread discussion online after sharing a video in which he showcased a new motorcycle and declared that he intended to ride it from Nairobi to Kisii.The video shared on his his social media, elicited a variety of responses from viewers, many of whom were taken aback by the lawmaker’s mode of transportation for such a lengthy journey.
In the footage, Osoro can be seen meticulously preparing for the ride, showcasing a focus on both safety and comfort.
He put on an additional pair of trousers over his sweatpants, which had side pockets, followed by sturdy boots and protective gloves.
To enhance his visibility on busy highways, he donned a reflective vest. He finalized his preparations by fastening his helmet before starting the motorcycle.
As he turned the ignition, the engine roared to life, heightening the dramatic atmosphere of the moment.
He then climbed onto the bike and slowly exited through the gate, marking the beginning of what he referred to as a long-distance journey.Despite the clear visuals, some online viewers expressed doubt, questioning whether the legislator would actually complete ride to Kisii on motorcycle.
