Babu

In Nairobi politics, things are always hot and people never stop talking. Right now, many people are asking what really put John Mbadi in office. Some people say it is luck, some say it is strategy, and some say it is because of his connections.

But if you look closely, CS John Mbadi did not just get his office by luck or by chance. He has been working for many years. He has been patient, he has followed political rules, and he has built friends and alliances inside and outside his party.

He has used his experience to make people trust him and to get positions of power. That is why today he is Treasury CS. People respect him because he knows how to play the politics game, how to negotiate with leaders, and how to take opportunities when they come.

At the same time, in Nairobi, another leader, Babu Owino, has been talking loudly about his power. He says, “I am the king of maandamano!” Everybody knows what he means. He is proud of leading demonstrations, street protests, and big crowds.

He is telling everyone that he is not afraid to fight for people in the streets. People see him and feel courage. Young people like him because he is fearless. When there is trouble, injustice, or problems, he goes out and leads the people. That is his kind of power, street power.

In Nairobi politics today, there are two types of power. One type of power is inside offices, like CS John Mbadi. This power comes from planning, patience, and alliances.

The other type of power is in the streets, like Babu Owino. This power comes from courage, energy, and the ability to move big crowds. Both are important. Both make people talk and pay attention. Both can change things in different ways.

So people are always asking: Who is stronger? Who decides the future? Is it the one inside the office, like CS John Mbadi, or the one in the streets, like Babu Owino? Nairobi people are watching, learning, and talking every day, and the politics game never stops.
