Money Bior has strongly refuted allegations circulating online that he and his security team assaulted a man known as Mr. Leaky. In an official statement released on Friday, November 28, Bior described the claims as false, malicious, and deliberately designed to mislead the public.
The statement addressed a viral post in which Mr. Leaky claimed he was attacked by Bior’s mobilizers, coordinators, and security detail.
Bior’s team noted that the post included an old, unrelated photograph that was falsely presented as evidence of hospitalization following the alleged assault.
“This is dishonest, irresponsible, and an abuse of public trust,” the statement read. “Hon. Robert Money Bior has always conducted a peaceful, issue-based campaign guided by loyalty, truth, and respect for the people of Kasipul.”
Bior’s team emphasized that they uphold the highest standards of political conduct and do not condone violence, intimidation, or political thuggery of any kind.
The statement also reminded Mr. Leaky of the legal implications of publishing false information with the intent to damage another person’s reputation, noting that defamation and character assassination are punishable offenses under the law.Bior urged the public to reject the claims with the seriousness they deserve, emphasizing that Kasipul politics should focus on truth, unity, and a clean political path forward.
The controversy comes amid heightened political activity in Kasipul, with leaders and candidates vying for public support ahead of upcoming elections.
Money Bior concluded the statement by reaffirming his commitment to a peaceful, transparent, and issue-focused campaign, assuring residents that his team remains focused on serving the people and advancing community development initiatives.
